For my birthday I had a murder mystery evening with my best friends which was so much fun!! And it went perfectly!! I was Dr Beau Tox and my friends came as the maid, the captain, the cabaret singer and the chef.... here they are:
Also for my birthday I went shopping and got lots of new clothes which is always fun. I was in particular looking for some mint coloured garments as I had read in a lot of fashion mags that that was going to be the spring/summer colour for 2012. I managed to find some really nice mint coloured clothes from Zara, I bought myself a t-shirt and some nice summery trousers too! I was surprised to find quite a few garments in Zara actually that I really liked, sometimes I can go in that store and not find anything that takes my eye, but this occassion was the opposite. Here are my mint trousers!! Love them!
So I've had a really nice April up until now!
My agent has also been in touch which is great!!!... Last week she had a commercial audition for me, which was really good and something I had never done before so didn't really know what to expect. I didn't get the job but it was a good experience and nice to try something new.
I had an audition this Tuesday as well for We Will Rock You, the UK Tour!! Which would be awesome. I've never actually seen the show but I've heard such good things about it.
So I'm crossing everything and hoping that I can get somewhere with it. One of the things I really struggle with, when it comes to auditions is a good audition song. For WWRY I need two rock/pop songs that aren't musical theatre. I've had a couple of thoughts, but still haven't come to any conclusions as to what would be best to sing. I'm hoping that I can keep building my song repitoire so that in the future I won't have this problem.
Anyway I shall let you know of my progress!! Wish me luck!!!.... actually NO!! Say "Break A Leg" in fact!
